Dear Friends,

In January we announced our 2026 grantee partner: the National Immigration Project. Every news cycle highlights how timely that decision was.

This small but mighty organization combines deep legal expertise with a powerful national network of community advocates to ensure that those most impacted by the immigration and criminal legal systems are supported, protected, and prepared in moments of crisis. A blend of high-level skill and far-reaching relationships makes the National Immigration Project one of the most effective immigrant justice organizations in the country.

Their rapid response network puts boots on the ground where and when needed, and allows them to mobilize in defense of human rights, as they did in Byhalia, Mississippi, in opposition to the conversion of a warehouse into an ICE detention facility

The National Immigration Project is involved in legal defense, research and reporting on the evolving and dire statistics unfolding in the past year, advocacy and education, as well as holding legal clinics and trainings across the country.

For every $1 the National Immigration Project spends, immigration enforcement spends $4,000. This stark imbalance underscores the urgency of investing in communities and resisting unchecked enforcement overreach.

Turn anxiety into action. Please join us in uplifting the National Immigration Project
