September 30, 2024 | 7-10 pm | Hamilton Live | Washington, DC
Be Part of Our Concert Series & Help Democracy, Too.
A massive part of voter engagement is meeting people where they are and listening to issues that are most important to them. Black Voters Matter (BVM) understands this better than anyone. At Soul of Justice, we will meet and support BVM’s founders while promoting justice through the joy of music.
The concert will feature songs we all know and love from Stevie Wonder, Bill Withers, the Isley Brothers, Staple Singers, Roberta Flack, James Brown, Marvin Gaye, Aretha Franklin, and others. Tickets include a welcome reception and a 3-course dinner.
MEET THE ARTISTS!
JusticeAid Artist in Residence Paine the Poet will perform a spoken word original work. See him featured in our August Justice+Art selections.

JusticeAid is a nonprofit charitable organization that leverages the community-building power of art and music to transform awareness into action in the fight against injustice. Each year we identify and raise funds for justice causes by hosting music, arts, and educational events. Since 2013 JusticeAid has granted close to $3 million to nonprofits working to ensure access to justice for the disenfranchised and marginalized. Our grantee partners are fighting racist voter suppression and racist policing, working to end mass incarceration and inhumane immigration practices, ensuring access to legal services, and addressing the criminalization and hatred of others.
We know that you trust JusticeAid to identify phenomenal musical talent, important issues, and deserving organizations like Black Voters Matter. Please kindly give what you are able and know that we are truly grateful for your support and audience participation on September 30th.
JusticeAid sponsors help us sustain and nourish our organization in order to keep funding organizations doing the hard work. Sponsors allow us to increase awareness of issues through media and forums, increase funding to artists using beauty to expose injustices, and sustain our work for years to come. In return, we offer our sponsors a way to make a difference and be part of change.
Sponsorships range from $1000-$10,000. We are happy to customize a sponsorship package for you.
To secure a sponsorship, please contact Rebecca Petras, Managing Director, rpetras@justiceaid.org. Checks can be made payable to “JusticeAid” and addressed to: JusticeAid, 2120 Kalorama Road, NW #3Washington, DC 20008
