s the world pushes the pause button, JusticeAid remains vigilant in its resolve to protect every American’s right to vote in the upcoming elections—even though COVID-19 presents new challenges.
To this end, we are reimagining our May benefit concert in NYC and refocusing on ways JusticeAid can empower voters.
In the spirit of reimagining…
- First, the show will go on. We are organizing an online fundraising concert for our 2020 beneficiary. It will be different, and wonderful. Please stay tuned for further announcements.
- Please get to know the nonpartisan Election Protection coalition and the 866-OUR-VOTE national hotline. They are working year-round to ensure that all voters have an equal opportunity to vote and have that vote count between now and November. Election Protection needs your support now more than ever. Thank you for giving generously to support their work to fight voter suppression in all its forms.
- We know you want to help. We’ve posted Voting in the Age of COVID—resources focused on the unprecedented challenges to voter rights brought on by COVID-19.
- And in the spirit of supporting each other through challenging times, we hope you will enjoy this bonus playlist of Music that Matters: Songs to Uplift. Goodness knows that we all need respite and renewal in these uncertain times.
Wishing you health and uplifting music in your world,
Stephen, Jenny, Mark, and the entire JusticeAid Board of Directors
