At our fall concert, we came together to rejoice in the beauty of music, to recharge, and to ready ourselvesfor a safe, fair, and enthusiastic voter turnout on Election Day. (See event wrap-up here.)

Our fundraising goal is ambitious. Last spring we raised $200,000 for our 2020 grantee partner, Election Protection/866-OUR-Vote. We’ve extended the campaign in hopes of raising $100,000 more, and many incredible donors responded generously. Thank you so much!

We’re almost there. With $25,000 to go, we hope you can open your hearts and wallets to help Election Protection fight for change that will protect our democratic process. As musician Tom Morello expressed on Saturday, “The world is not going to change itself.”

A special thank you to musician and educator Bari Koral for hosting the event, and to the artists who shared their talents: Rosanne CashIvan NevilleTom MorelloRegina CarterLila Downs, Regina Carter and Paine the Poet.

The concert would not have been possible without the utter magic of Natalie Jowett Agoos, Ray Conley, Danny Melnick, the JusticeAid Board of Directors, and the tireless team at Election Protection/866-OUR-VOTE.

And there’s more music to come! JusticeAid is proud to partner with DJ Suss One, who will be spinning tunes for voter empowerment on October 23rd at 7 PM. To listen, go to your Instagram feed and follow @djsussone.
