Dear Friends,
Thanks to generous support from old and new friends, we are well on our way to our goal of raising $200,000 for Black Voters Matter by June 30th. But did you know we can unlock $200,000 more from a generous anonymous donor by matching those funds? Help us do it!
There are two ways to give and have your funds matched. We still have a few $300 tickets left for the Soul of Justice concert in NYC next Tuesday, the 21st. It will be a true celebration of music and justice. Or you can give directly to the Match Challenge. Either way, 100% of all donations and ticket sales will be doubled through the end of June and go in full and directly to Black Voters Matter to help them secure voting rights.

JusticeAid Artist in Residence and Soul of Justice performer Paine the Poet (aka Kris Sykes) is a formerly incarcerated spoken word artist who uses his gift of poetry and lyricism to promote a deeper understanding of flaws in our criminal legal system. In “Go and Vote,” Sykes shares his experience of feeling disenfranchised from the right to vote.
Can’t attend but want to support Black Voters Matter in a big way?
Sponsor the concert at any level. You can be a Partner in Justice (gifts of $2000+) or a Nonprofit Ally ($500+) and we’ll list your name in the program for the concert. 100% of sponsorships and ticket sales go to Black Voters Matter.
Successful voter engagement requires meeting people where they are and listening to issues that are most important to them. Our grantee partner, Black Voters Matter (BVM), understands this better than anyone. When you join us at our Spring benefit concert you’ll be supporting the fight against voter suppression, while enjoying music from an all-star band and Grammy-nominated vocalists evoking the Soul of Justice.
