During this year of tremendous challenges, both to the health of our world and the fabric of our democracy, we are proud of our accomplishments and grateful that donations for our 2020 grantee partner, Election Protection, exceeded all expectations.

Here is our first Impact Report.  We hope you enjoy it.

The impact of giving to JusticeAid is clear.

In spite of all, 2020 was a year of growth for JusticeAid. Our circle of donors is now larger than ever; we hired our first employee; and we produced our first music blog, virtual concerts, and film forum. Above all, our grantee partner, Election Protection, received $300,000 from the JusticeAid family of donors.

  • If you were one of the 357 donors who made a contribution to support Election Protection, thank you! Even now your gift is helping to protect our right to vote during the run-offs in Georgia.
  • And if you’ve supported JusticeAid in the past, thank you for trusting JusticeAid to curate causes, as well as music, while helping us provide funding to 13 amazing charitable nonprofits over the past 7 years.

In 2021, as our country turns to healing itself, JusticeAid will once again blow its trumpet for justice—spotlighting the PACE program of Neighborhood Defender Service, which addresses police accountability and community empowerment.

Thank you for considering a contribution to JusticeAid in your year-end giving plans.

Wishing you and yours well,
Mark Rochon, President

Here is an easy way for you to make even more of an impact! While shopping on Amazon, simply create an account with Amazon Smile and designate JusticeAid as your charity of choice. Amazon Smile will donate .5% of the price of your eligible purchases to Justiceaid, at no cost to you.

JusticeAid leverages the community-building power of art and music to transform awareness into action in the fight against injustice. Each year we identify and raise funds for justice causes by hosting music, arts, and educational events. Since 2013 JusticeAid has raised over 1.3 million dollars for justice heroes: nonprofits that are ending mass incarceration, addressing the criminalization of poverty and inhumane immigration policies, and protecting civil rights for all.
