The criminalization of pregnancy affects everyone. That’s why we chose Pregnancy Justice as our 2025 grantee partner.

On May 28th JusticeAid hosted a joyous and powerful sold out concert event in New York City to raise money for our 2025 grantee partner: Pregnancy Justice.  Everyone in the room had the opportunity to learn about the crucial work of fighting back against the criminalization of pregnancy, and the response has been overwhelming.

Amplifying the work of our grantee partners is a cornerstone of JusticeAid’s mission. For those of you who could not be with us in NYC, we wanted to offer some resources for getting better acquainted with Pregnancy Justice and their work. Women’s bodily autonomy is being threatened through a widening web of new laws, and existing laws being used in new ways. If pregnant women are not safe in their own bodies, no one else can feel safe. This threat to civil rights affects all of us.

To learn more about what pregnancy criminalization means, and what Pregnancy Justice is doing to fight back, please click on the links and watch the videos. And when you’ve seen and understood what’s happening, please give what you can. We need each other now more than ever.

PS: Thank you to all who joined us on May 28. We loved seeing you there. Relive the night through our photo gallery.
