Dear Friends,
JusticeAid’s 2023 Fall Benefit Concert with Tank and the Bangas was a sold-out success and a joyful evening for one and all. We were thrilled to see so many of you on your feet dancing in celebration of the music and the tranformational work of Black Voters Matter. Photos of the concert to come!
Earlier in the day we hosted Boots to the Ballot Box, an inspiring and informative public forum hosted by MSNBC’s Joy Reid in conversation with the co-founders of Black Voters Matter, Latosha Brown and Cliff Albright, along with Damon Hewitt, President and Executive Director of the Lawyers’ Committee for Civil RIghts Under Law. A recording of the event will be available soon.
A huge thank you to our concert host committee, sponsors, table hosts, donors, and ticket buyers—and to the forum speakers and guests–for your contributions to fight back against racist voter suppression. We are excited to report that we’re close to meeting our matching fund challenge. If you have yet to make a contribution, please help us get over the finish line! Deadline, October 31st.
With our gratitude, The JusticeAid Board of Directors
THANK YOU TO OUR SPONSORS
Together we can ensure that voter suppression tactics do not destroy our Democracy. 100% of concert ticket revenue,
sponsorships, and donations go to Black Voters Matter.
