NOVEMBER, 2013
9:30 CLUB, WASHINGTON, DC

More than 500 supporters joined us at D.C.’s famed Black Cat to mingle with top-flight D.C. lawyers and our partners at DC’s Law Students in Court (LSIC). We enjoyed the music of New Orleans funk ensemble Flow Tribe, NYC’s hip hop/soul/rock outfit Pants Velour, and local break-outs The Morrison Brothers Band. A sensational outpouring of support from colleagues, friends, and LSIC supporters helped raise funds to train third-year law students in courtroom advocacy skills—ultimately ensuring free, high-quality legal assistance for Washington, DC’s low-income community.

Of course, only magical things can happen when you combine superb music, kind people, and the spirit of philanthropy. We’ll remain forever grateful.
