DC Law Students in Court

More than 500 supporters joined us at D.C.’s famed Black Cat to mingle with top-flight D.C. lawyers and our partners at D.C. Law Students in Court (DCLSIC).

We enjoyed the music of New Orleans funk ensemble Flow Tribe, NYC’s hip hop/soul/rock outfit, Pants Velour, and local break-outs The Morrison Brothers Band.

“Of course, only magical things can happen when you combine superb music, kind people, and the spirit of philanthropy. We’ll remain forever grateful.” — Moses Cook, Executive Director, DC Law Students in Court

A sensational outpouring of support from colleagues, friends, and DCLISC supporters helped raise funds to train third-year law students in courtroom advocacy skills, ultimately ensuring free, high-quality legal assistance for Washington, D.C.’s low-income community.
