The North Carolina Supreme Court just issued three rulings that restrict voting rights, allowing partisan redistricting that could weaken the power of the Black vote. In response, BVM launched a North Carolina Supreme Court Justice Bus Tour to update communities about the recent cases handed down by the North Carolina Supreme Court. By raising awareness about key voting rights cases all over the country, BVM is mobilizing citizens to fight for a more fair and inclusive democratic process.
The video below explains how Black Voters Matter is breaking down barriers to voter suppression.
Contributions to JusticeAid this year will fuel the work of Black Voters Matter to advance a broader vision
that voting rights expands the path to all human rights.

JusticeAid Board of Directors
JusticeAid leverages the community-building power of art and music to transform awareness into action in the fight against injustice. Each year we identify and raise funds for justice causes by hosting music, arts, and educational events. Since 2013 JusticeAid has granted more than $2 million dollars to nonprofits working to ensure access to justice for the disenfranchised and marginalized. Our grantee partners are fighting racist voter suppression and racist policing, working to end mass incarceration and inhumane immigration practices, ensuring access to legal services, and addressing the criminalization and hatred of others.
