Our October 17th show at the House of Blues in New Orleans was nothing short of incredible, and combined with the show you helped us put on in May at DC’s historic Lincoln Theatre, JusticeAid raised approximately $150,000 for these worthy causes. It’s no secret that we have a blast at JusticeAid, but we never forget that our work, and your support, have very real impacts on the state of civil rights and justice in our nation for disenfranchised people. Heartfelt thanks for your support as we wrap up our shows for 2015 — the Year of the Innocent.
Your support helps shine a light of hope for those who are wrongfully relegated to our nation’s prisons. Stay tuned for what’s to come in 2016, as we renew our partnership to promote justice through the arts.
Couldn’t make it to NOLA? Follow us on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Vine for photosand videos from this incredible night, and join our campaign to crusade for justice by posting to your own social media accounts with #WhatJusticeMeansToMe. We can’t wait for next time.
