The incomparable Mavis Staples is coming to town on October 19th for JusticeAid’s 2021 Fall Concert at Washington, DC’s Lincoln Theatre—and we can hardly wait! Joining Mavis on the bill is Amy Helm, one of today’s finest singer-songwriters in the Americana Roots tradition.

And this just in: JusticeAid’s favorite spoken word artist, Paine the Poet, will open the evening’s program with his original and always compelling verse. His poetry hits hard, but always guides us toward compassion.

There’s a ticket price for everyone, starting at $35. Plan a night out and have some fun while contributing to a worthwhile justice cause.

A note about ticket sales: When you purchase your tickets on the Ticketmaster website, all ticket proceeds, and all donations to JusticeAid between now and the concert, will go directly to expand the Police Accountability/Community Empowerment program of the Neighborhood Defender Service

Social distancing, proof of full vaccination, and masks will be required for entry along with a matching photo ID. Proof of vaccination can be your physical vaccine card or a photo of your card.
